Tour Overview
My Stargazing Casino Tour is a private customisable tour. You get the chance to enjoy a local homemade dinner, followed by a night of star gazing before we head off to play our hand at the Casinos. The night starts when you are picked up from your hotel in Christchurch. Our first hop-off point is my typical New Zealand home, where we enjoy a local dish. Dinner in Christchurch is special, as guests get to taste a local, home cooked meal made with organic ingredients from my own garden and glasshouse.
Our 2-course menu is flexible, and we are delighted to fit in with your wishes. My partner, Keiko, has done her chefs training in Japan. I’m an avid cook myself, so we can cater for most tastes. Depending on the season, we can either have dinner in the Garden or the Sunroom. During Winter, we set-up dinner close to a warm fireplace whilst marvelling over a glass or two of local wine and beer.
After dinner, we drive up the Port Hills to a height of 400 metres – to take in the view over the City. The night view is particularly beautiful when the North West wind is blowing, and the city lights sparkle below. I must add – this is a good vantage point to see the Southern Sky.
We finish at the Casino to try your luck on the roulette or poker machine – if you fancy a flutter. If gambling isn’t your fancy, I am more than happy to adjust the tour to your specific interests.

| 20:00 | Drive-up the Port Hills to enjoy the night view over the city lights. Drive over into Governors Bay area to view the stars from a darker area away from city lights |
